Right before sleeping one night I had this random visualization of illuminated parts connected by structural nodes. I think it’s like these glass tubes are individuals and the nodes that connect them are our relationships and communities. Some communities are out on the edge and some are between others; either way, these connections support individuals and, at moments, illuminate them.

What started as a less rectilinear form drawn directly from the initial visual (see concept sketch in images) evolved into an adaptable grid system.

For now the Eden Lattice System lives virtually, but with some prototyping, could be fully realized.
